Motherhood Sessions

A session thought out, designed, and made with you and your babies in mind.

After becoming a mother myself, I realize that my life truly began the moment my son, Colson was born. I can't remember a life before him, and truly don't know how I went 29 years without him. Motherhood is not for the weak, as you have extremely hard, emotional days, along with that terrible mom guilt. However, it's in those beautiful, wonderful "can't put into words" how you feel during those moments with your child, when you snuggle up and love on each other. The random kisses, and "I love you, Mommy," the giggles, the pure joy you feel when your baby is nearby. The feeling that sometimes a photograph can capture and make that moment stand still and last...forever.

We moms don't get near enough pictures of us and our babies, as we are always the ones taking the pictures. Am I right?! That is why I have created a specific session just strictly for the moms with their babies. Between maternity and motherhood photos, I really can't say which one I love more. The beauty of a mother, as her body is changing and growing her child, and the breathtaking, stunning look on a mother's face smiling with love-filled eyes when she is holding her baby and loving on them. It is indescribable. These are the photos that I absolutely can feel the love overflowing in them. These are the photos that I can assure you, you will look back on years, even decades later, when your baby grows up way too fast, and be eternally grateful you did them. You will never ever regret an opportunity to express and show your love to your child(ren) and have those moments captured. Your child will be grateful to have those photos one day too and show their own kids. You owe this to yourself, momma, and to your child(ren)!

Once a year, right around Mother's Day, I will offer a "Mommy + Me" mini. but with this motherhood session, you will get at least a full hour of shoot time (of course if your kiddo(s) is cooperative) and be able to truly be in the moment, all while I capture it perfectly. You can make these your own, by bringing sentimental items, or a favorite book you read with your child. We can always incorporate a very intimate breastfeeding moment as well. Images with both/all of you, and individual photos of each of you will be returned in both color and black and white.

And of course, if you're grown and just want photos of you and your mom, let's do it! These sessions can be done in the comfort of your own home, outside in a beautiful field, or an indoor studio-type backdrop session- it's all up to you! Pricing will vary depending on how many kiddos you have, as well as any ideas you'd like to incorporate, and length of session.

Generational Sessions

Of course, we as moms don't know what we would do without our babies, but we also don't know what we'd do without our own mommas, ESPECIALLY after we have our own child. Moms always know just what to say, how to say it, and how to make everything better. They love us like no one else loves us, and when they become a grandma, I really think THAT is when their life really begins. As I always tell people about my mom- she is living her best life as "JuJu." They just thought they loved us... The love of a grandparent is something so special and unique. (Even if they give your kiddo too much chocolate or suckers!) :) I love you, Momma! XOXO

These sessions are for you to grab your momma, grab your baby, and celebrate the three generations of your family. Do you have a great-grandma? Bring her too! These sessions are fun, memorable, and definitely something you'll look back on one day and smile over.
