A little bit about me
Hey there! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Savanna, and I am a photographer in Northeast Arkansas. I have loved photography ever since I knew how to work a camera. I'll have to give my own mother some credit, as she had a camera in my face since I came out into the world! As a little girl, I'd line my baby dolls up and take their pictures. As a teen, I'd always be the one with the camera snapping all kinds of photos. Now, as an adult, and wife and mother of a precious son, I try and capture all the "firsts," all the special moments, as well as everyday life. I want to freeze every beautiful moment. My house is full of photos of my family and loved ones. You wouldn't believe me if I told you how many photos I have! Photos are extremely important to me, and I don't take it lightly when you choose me to be your photographer, as I want to ensure your photos are important to you as well.
I began my photography journey a few years after I graduated high school in 2009. What began as a hobby, grew into a little side gig. My husband and I have moved and lived in different areas throughout our marriage, and because of that, photography was kind of put on the back burner. But now that we have decided to stay and settle here in Arkansas, I have had such a passion for making this a full-time business.
I find so much joy in capturing special moments for anyone who will allow me to. I love getting to be creative, encouraging, and gaining new friendships through photography. It truly makes my heart so happy and gives me a sense of purpose to use my talent, aside from my number one purpose...being a Momma.
What I love about photography is the possibilities of getting creative are endless! Even though photography is changing (uhh hello smartphones) the images will always stay the same. Don't you love the feeling of looking back at photos and remembering exactly what was going on, who you were with, and remembering something funny or special that happened before or after that photo? And then most of the time you smile when you remember. It's such a cozy, warm feeling to me. And that's what I strive to give to my clients. "A warm, cozy feeling" when they go and look back at the photos I've taken for them that will always make them smile.
I look forward to meeting new faces, and capturing all of life's special, pure, and unique moments for you to have, and pass down in all the years to come. I would absolutely love to be able to capture some of life's sweetest, magical moments just for you!
