Let's capture your own birth story...

From the time you find out your expecting, to when your baby first enters this world, every moment is so special. Allowing a photographer in the delivery room with you to capture and tell your very own birth story is something I can 100% say you will never regret. It is also one you will forever be thankful you did, allowing those raw, vulnerable, beautiful moments captured, and frozen in time forever. Not only do I capture your baby's very first moments entering the world, but I capture you and your significant other preparing and going through the active labor process as well.

How it works

When you book your birth session with me, I immediately block out pretty much the whole due date month, as we all know babies are unpredictable. Once you book, if we have never met before, we can have a face-to-face meeting, or one over-the-phone. I want to make you as comfortable as possible around me and want to know exactly what YOU want out of this special, unique time in your life. I want to know about any concerns and the do's and do nots with any particular photos. As your due date approaches, I am "on-call" 24/7 until baby is born. I am in the room with you during active labor, through the birth, capturing the very first moment your beautiful baby comes into the world, all the way up to the first feeding if that is something you want captured as well.

What to expect from me

As I have quickly fallen in love with capturing birth stories, and the beauty of the true "in the moment" candid photos that come from it, I also make it a point to help if needed, as well as be very discreet, where you don't even know I'm there. Most images are edited in both black and white and color, and you will get hundreds of photos back of my choice, edited, and sent via digital link to look back for the rest of your life, and one day show your child the beauty of their birth. You can never relive those moments, but photos can take you back to that day. The tiny details of the room, of your significant other/support team holding your hand, to the fresh, new features of a brand-new beautiful baby, to the raw emotions of holding your child for the very first time.
